Interactive discus-sions were held at the end of each of the symposiums. Several technical sessions, includ-ing hands-on courses on the topics of endoscopic ultrasound and transab-dominal ultrasound, were also well received. Hands-on course The symposium provided an open forum for exchanging new information and ideas where participants from all over the world can have an opportunity to exchange new developments and recent research results in this field, as well as to promote fellowship. Presidential dinner Traditional Korean music performance award, best oral presentation award, best poster presentation award, and travel grants as well. Participants also had an opportuni-ty to enjoy the Presidential dinner and a Korean traditional music perfor-mance. This Presidential dinner with show was an enjoyable and rewarding event for all. This year’s meeting was surely successful and continued to provide a valuable platform for local and over-seas gastrointestinal professionals and experts to exchange knowledge and share experience in different perspec-tives of GI diseases. We sincerely appreciate all partici-pants in SIDDS 2016 for the success-ful meeting by all their efforts. Also we look forward to seeing you at the next meeting of SIDDS 2018. Thank you again.
