The focus of WDHD 2019 is
Early Diagnosis and Treatment of
GI Cancer. WGO and The WGO
Foundation (WGOF) invite all WGO
Member Societies, WGO Training
Centers, Regional Affiliate Associations,
and other global partners to organize
events to advocate for and raise
awareness of the early diagnosis and
treatment of GI Cancers throughout
2019. The campaign this year is led by
WDHD 2019 Co-Chairs, Dr. Kentaro
Sugano of Japan and Dr. Joseph
Sung of Hong Kong, along with the
WDHD 2019 Steering Committee
who will provide a wealth of expertise
to this topic. To meet the Steering
