The WGO Executive Secretariat Has Moved!
Dear Colleagues,
In June of this year, you were sent a communication which outlined the process in which the Executive Committee made the decision to transfer the management of the organisation from Medconnect located in Germany to a US-based company in order to reduce expenditures. The company chosen to serve as the WGO secretariat is Executive Director, Inc. (EDI), located in Milwaukee. During the past few weeks, EDI staff has been meeting some of you via conference calls and working with the Medconnect staff to learn as much as possible about the organisation before they assume management on August 1, 2010. At that time, all of the duties of the WGO secretariat will be assumed by the new staff.
I am pleased to introduce the following individuals to you:
Caley Kleczka - Caley will serve as the full-time Executive Director for WGO. She can be reached at ckleczka@worldgastroenterology.org.
Leah Kopp - Leah will serve as the full-time Communications Manager for WGO. She can be reached at lkopp@worldgastroenterology.org.
Marissa Lopez - Marissa will serve as the full-time Program Manager for WGO. She can be reached at mlopez@worldgastroenterology.org.
Kay Whalen - Kay, who is president of EDI, will serve in a consulting role to WGO. She can be reached at kwhalen@execinc.com.
