Statutes & By Laws

The World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO) abides by a set of Statutes and By-laws. Representatives of member societies meet at the time of World Congresses held every four years, in a General Assembly, to elect the Governing Council of WGO, to ratify the work of the outgoing Governing Council, and to decide on the venue for the next World Congress. Each country represented has a single vote.
