WGO Training Center in La Plata, Argentina
On March 21, 2007 WGO opened its 9th Training Center in La Plata, Argentina. Thirty-five miles south-east of Buenos Aires, La Plata is a bustling metropolis with a population of 600,000. The Center is co-directed by Dr. Chopita and Dr. Landoni and offers a variety of training opportunities and scholarships.
In 2008 the La Plata Training Center will offer one scholarship for a two day practical training course, from April 17-18, 2008. The scholarship includes local expenses and registration; student is responsible for their travel costs from their home country to the course site. The deadline for submission of applications is March 10, 2008. Interested applicants are asked to contact the Training Center directors, Dr. Landoni and Dr. Chopita, for further information.
