This course is an educational activity for young PhDs and basic science oriented MDs in the field of gastroenterology across Europe and combines state-of-the-art lectures with hands-on training in the laboratory. This course is focused on the relevance of gut microbiota in health and disease, on different tools for microbiota analysis, and on available therapeutic avenues to manipulate gut microbiota.
